Harajuku Kawaii

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has been crowned as the official Harajuku Kawaii Ambassador.

Kyary-chan received this auspicious title at a ceremony in LaFort Shopping Centre, at the end of August.

As Harajuku Kawaii Ambassador, Kyary-chan must endeavor to “transmit Harajuku culture to the entire world”.

Kyary-chan wore a super kawaii dress, specially made for the ceremony. The rosette displays toys she bought from Takeshita Street in Harajuku.

Her first official role as ambassador is to participate in this weekend's Harajuku Kawaii Festival. Thanks to YouTube, it's being broadcast live across the entire planet. Check out all the action right here!

Pamyu Pamyu Revolution

My obsession with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has not dwindled since my previous post about the Japanese sensation. If anything, it has grown.

I am now the proud owner of Kyary's mini-album Moshi Moshi Harajuku and debut studio album, Pamyu Pamyu Revolution. Though I'm still yet to get my hands on a copy of her autobiography, Oh! My God! Harajuku Girl.

Kyary seems to be popping up everywhere in Japan these days. They can't get enough of her! Take a look at all the products she either endorses, or has helped to create.

Does anyone know of any other Kyary Pamyu Pamyu collaborations? I'd love to hear about them!
